Pro tools 8 le is not compatable with 10.5.8. I have tried reading every form under the sun so I know how you fill. I have the same computer and software. I think we need a new mac with the right chip set.

Hello. I just upgraded my Mac OSX10 to 10.6.8
(Snow Leopard) but it killed my pro tools version 7.1.1…so I ordered a version 8.0.5
Pro tools to be compatible…but the install
on that system won’t open after it says “Install”
completed. Do I need to have an interim pro
tools version (like7.4) before it will open ???
Help !! Can anyone help ??

You know what?… Quit wasting your time with Pro Tools and Buy Logic Pro 9…. trust me, you’ll be a lot happier.
