GarageBand Video Tutorial: Using the Instrument Tuner October 18, 2008

Transcript: This video will show how to use GarageBand to tune your guitar (this also works for other instruments and voice as well). To begin, create a new track and select “Real Instrument.” Next, select your microphone input (or the input on your interface if you have it plugged in directly) in the details window.
To display the instrument tuner, click on the tuning fork in the timing display. Now, play a note and the meter will display the pitch and correctness. That’s it!!

Hello there! I just finished watching your You Tube video on how to email Garage Band Files by using DropSend as well. I found it to be very helpful but I was just wondering if the only way that my Garage Band file can be read is if I email it to another Mac user? Most of my friends still use pc’s. So I was wondering if you can explain how to convert my Garage Band files to files that can be opened by a pc user once I email it to them.
