I’m back! August 8, 2008

I’ve been getting ready for graduate school, working on some very time consuming audio projects, as well as a bunch of other things… But, now I’m back, as some big projects finished up this week.
Here’s what I hope to hit on this coming week:1) A series of short articles detailed what I learned while recording a scream/metal/? band called Versus the Ocean (everything from mic techniques to mixing to studio workflow)
2) Pro Tools 7.4.2
3) Hopefully some specific mixing technique articles if I have the time (with before and after audio examples)

I’ll be back in the game later this week too. Already put in my order for a new Digi interface (along w/7.4), Logic studio and some other goodies.
Those tracks you sent me sounded amazing for being mostly raw. You da’ man! Good luck with starting up school and getting settled in there in MA.

Good luck with the new stuff (7.4.2 with Leopard has been working very well for me)
The masters for the band are going out to them today (I’m no mastering engineer… but I got them as loud and as proud as I could :O
