Snare Polarity demonstration March 9, 2008

There are the beginnings of two different recorded snare drum hits. I recorded the first, then pushed the invert polarity (also sometimes called phase reversal) switch on my preamp. (It looks like a “0″ with a slash through it usually). Notice how the waveform is “flipped” upside down.
