But, thanks for posting it here. Now people that haven’t found that article (but found their way to this page) will know how to fix that problem. Unfortunately though, it is not a cure-all for everyone running leopard yet.

Little Bit of info for you guys… In order to get Pro Tools to work with leopard, all you have to do is remove the ReWire Plug-in from the plug-in folder. I just dragged the .dpm to another folder on my HD so that when it is compatible you could just put it back to the original place

Yeah, reinstalling is no fun.

I have Logic installed (I guess that’s obvious with the videos.. lol). I like it, great program. Always good to know more DAWs too.

yes by reinstalling leopard all together its would bring me back to version 10.5.1 but losing all my other software and sound wouldn’t be worth it …plus this is forcing me to learn logic which ive had just siting here taking up space.

yea i was foolish enough to bump up to version 10.5.2 on my mac pro ….pro tools works but it crashes with out warning… and xpand is basically useless at this point and time

I bought a Mac Pro when the new ones came out in January. My thought was “we’ve already been waiting 4-5 months, surely the update will come out by late February….”

Oh well… I have it working decently. Is your setup not working at all? Let us know, we can probably help you get it working.

What the heck?!? I bought my macbook pro back in january and I thought it had to be compatible with the 003- WRONG! I too am hoping this happens soon. Imagine all the great music not being recorded because of some hard-headed stalemate between mac and digi *sigh*
