I have installed pro tools 8 on windows 7.

I7 processor and 4gig ram.

I have Mbox pro

The installation was successful but get stuck when uploading DB.dmp forever.Can any help?

I installed windows 7 on my computer and put my pro tools instalation disc in and it tells me I don’t have enuff ram on my computer. I have apsolutly nothing on it.pluss My pro tools disc is a a real cd copy.PLEASE HELP ME

Im running windows 7 2g of ram and protools 8 worked fine couple of weeks ago but now when i try to open it the screen pops up to load then it disappears and suggestions

I have a Le 8.0.4 with authorization code (new Legal Download) that I bought from a guy on Ebay and it won’t install , he had told me what to do before but I had to restore my Lap top and now I can’t remember , The Le Installer does not Highlight , Does anyone know what to do ?

my friend put the pro tools le installer folder on my laptop thru his computer he went to setup & tryed 2 install it but it froze so i turnt my security off downloaded & install the driver 4 my mbox 2 mini & its still freezin i got windows 8 & he said its becuz of it & that i need windows 7 instead

Good day. My pro tools 8 le won’t install. It will go to the screen that says it is configuring your new software installation…then nothing else happens. It’s been 4 hours. Thanks…Prime

I just got past it. In using a 2011 Mac Pro and it took about 25 minutes to get past the last percent. I’m installing PT8 with an mbox mini. I’m glad I didnt shut it down.

Hi, I am trying to download pt 8 LE and it freezes when its saying installing drive…I have a Dell XPS 8300. How do I fix this? I even tried it for my Dell Laptop and it does the same thing.

i have a sony Vaio pcv-1142, 4CPU, 3.20GHz, 3.19GHz, a Digidesign 003 rack. “WAS”, running PT 8.0.3 (without the virtual instruments), but it ran great..
Now…. I’ve found my way here..
How do i get back to “am running”?
I’m the second owner of the equipments. Ive even gone out and punched an iMAC.
I’d greatly appreciate advice on the best; “compatible, studio program using the hardware”.

I have a dell studio xps, and trying to intstall pro tools mp 8 i have a m-audio fast track an old one. u allsow get the usb key with the pro tools but under the insallation i aiint having that in the computer. now to my problem.
when i try to install PT its stalling and saying that PT is not answer. or the program aiint answering. i think i have done everything right but it takes hours and hours at the setup status and its not moving atall after a while. took away internet explorer and other programs that maybe will interfear. do someone have an idee of what the problem is? or anything?
