I&#039;m getting my MM:SRT (Master of Music in Sound Recording Technology) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

The MBox has an input/output mix knob (for direct monitoring), or I would suggest lowering the buffer as low as possible. (128 on an MBox right?)

#3 is a hard one to answer on the internet.  Its a matter of getting the volume, EQ, and compression just right so that each sits in its own space (frequency rather than &quot;acoustic space&quot; sense).  This article will get you started
