I’m not sure on the Boom loading problem. Can you give me more info on your system (OS, PT version, etc.)

As far as the samples go, no. Boom is specifically an emulator of a few key kits. You can’t load new sounds into it.

i just recently saw your protools videos on youtube, and i love them!
i have protools 8 and am trying to get the hang of boom, which i think is a pretty cool drum machine but i have a couple of questions about it.

i created 4 or 5 different patterns to go with one of my songs (so far the only one in which boom is used). i can save what i’ve recorded in boom and send it to protools without a problem, but my question is this… after i have closed the session and go to open it back up again, the drum tracks that worked before are no longer playing. i have to create a new track and add boom and copy and paste all the tracks again onto the new track. why is that? how do i get it to play like it was when before i closed out the session earlier?
my other question is just out of curiosity. i actually like the drum samples better in expand!… is there a way i can somehow load those drums samples from expand into boom?
